Data is encrypted in transit. You can request that data be deleted. Independent security review. I'm paying for premium so I can listen to music while I do work. Ever since the new update ruined everything, the music stops in the middle of songs randomly. If the screen is off, it stops. If I switch to another app, it stops. Even if I actively have the app on screen and open, the music stops and the song disappears. Not only is the new interface ugly, harder to navigate, and was overall unnecessary, but now the app doesn't even succeed at its only function.
Please fix this. YouTube Music absolutely sucks. The concept is great, but the user interface is confusing, and especially after the recent update, now I have to constantly switch between a ton of different tabs just to access my uploaded and added libraries. I miss Google Play Music. That wasn't perfect, but it at least was easier to navigate and understand. Please bring it back. Love youtube music. So let's say I have a saved radio station, it would be really cool to be able empty the radio station and refill it with new songs. Maybe slightly alter the selection of songs based on recent activity. With a new set of songs each Wednesday, there is always more to explore.

It is hard to believe that any major company would release an app this bad. It is harder still to believe it when Google used to have a music app that actually worked and they replaced it with this pile of useless garbage.
Worthless junk. YouTube Music on Android TV sucks. What a horrible experience. Want to search for an album by an artist? No can do unless you have uploaded it and then navigate to the album alphabetically. This is the worst music experience ever. What happened to Google Play Music? The integration with YouTube means you cannot search music only. All searches return YouTube videos. I waited a bit to see if Google would fix this rotten app on Android TV. I guess they don't think it's worth the upgrade. What are you waiting for Google?

I guess they don't think it's worth the upgrade. What are you waiting for Google? Please release a stand-alone music app. Thank you! But this is such a poor "replacement" for Google Play Music. Truly disappointing. Its so busy, a bit confusing, plays commercials way too frequently, and now you can't cast your uploaded music to other Google products, like the Nest if you don't have a subscription. I uploaded my music collection consisting of about 10, songs; essentially all my ripped CD and digital music collection.
